How to Apply

Follow these steps to enroll in California's self-exclusion program.

    Visit the CGCC website and download the Self-Exclusion Request Form

    Complete the form with your personal information

  3. 3

    Choose your exclusion period: 1 year, 5 years, or lifetime

  4. 4

    Submit the form by mail or in person at a CGCC-licensed cardroom

  5. 5

    Provide a valid government-issued photo ID

  6. 6

    For tribal casinos, contact each casino individually to request exclusion

How to Reverse Self-Exclusion

For 1-year or 5-year exclusions, you may request removal after the period expires. Lifetime exclusions cannot be reversed. Contact the CGCC to begin the reinstatement process.

Important Notes

California does not yet have legal online sports betting. Self-exclusion applies to cardrooms and tribal casinos. Each tribal casino has its own exclusion process.
