How to Delete or Close Your DraftKings Account

Open DraftKings' Close Account page and sign in. Or follow these steps in the app:

1. Sign in to the US Sports & Casino app. Tap your profile photo (top right).
2. Tap Login & Security, then Login Security Preferences.
3. Tap Close Account, fill in the form, then Continue.
4. Enter your password again and tap Yes, Close My Account.

Before confirming: withdraw any available funds and save the records you need. Closure removes login access.

Want permanent closure? Contact DraftKings support after completing these steps. Ordinary closure can be reversed. Official US instructions.

On a computer, mobile browser, or another app #

The direct closure link is available in DraftKings' US instructions. To find the control through a different app or browser, sign in and use the matching route:

• Desktop or laptop: profile photo, Account Information, Login & Security, then scroll to Close Account.
• Mobile browser: Home (bottom bar), profile photo (top left), Login & Security, then scroll to Close Account.
• Daily Fantasy or Pick6: profile photo, Login & Security, then scroll to Close Account.
• DK Horse: profile photo, Settings, then Close Account.

Complete the form, continue, enter your password again, and confirm closure. These are the published US routes; controls in other countries may differ.

If returning to the account could lead to another bet, ask support to restrict access now and help with funds or records. An unresolved withdrawal, document, or wager should not delay asking for that help.

If you cannot sign in or find the closure control #

Open the official support article and use its chatbot. DraftKings says logged-out users can open a case after verifying an email. Explain that you need account closure or help with an existing restriction. Ask support to handle remaining funds and records without restoring betting access.

You can adapt this message:

Please help me close my account permanently. My product is [product] and my US state is [state]. Please confirm the affected accounts, the effective date, and what remains to complete. I also need help with [balance, pending wagers, or records]. Please keep any existing gambling restriction in place while resolving this.

Share identifying details only through DraftKings' official support channel. Never send your password. Keep the case number and support replies outside the betting app. A submitted request is worth saving; you still need to know whether it has been completed.

Sort out balances, open wagers, and tax records #

Save a dated record of your available cash, pending withdrawals, unsettled wagers or contests, and any promotional balance. Do not place another wager to use a bonus, clear a balance, or try to recover a loss. Ask support to explain any withdrawal restriction and the treatment of promotional funds in writing.

My Stat Sheet shows deposits and withdrawals, Sports & Casino wagering activity, and Fantasy/Pick6 contest activity. For other products, ask support where to obtain their records.

For tax forms already issued to you, use DraftKings' tax-document instructions. Eligible customers can find forms in the Financial Center, with two-factor authentication required for each download. Ask support how you will receive missing or future documents after closure. You do not need to wait for next year's forms to ask for help closing access.

Ask specifically about open wagers before choosing a restriction. During a cool-off, DraftKings says existing entries and wagers stay active and cannot be changed; open Predictions contracts cannot be sold. That rule does not establish the settlement or refund outcome for ordinary closure or self-exclusion. Official cool-off guidance.

If the account is already restricted, use support. Both the cool-off guidance and self-exclusion guidance direct withdrawal requests to Customer Support. Ask how each pending item will be settled and paid while the restriction remains in place.

Choose a cool-off or self-exclusion when you need a break #

Cool-off: a temporary restriction

Use the Cool Off page in My Budget & Controls and review the duration offered for your jurisdiction and product. Custom durations are unavailable in some cases. DraftKings says the period cannot be shortened and prevents account login, deposits, and sports wagers during the break. A cool-off has an end date; it does not establish permanent closure. Self-exclusion: a restriction for the selected term

Start with DraftKings' official self-exclusion overview and its Responsible Gaming Center link. Read the product coverage and state notices before submitting. If the enrollment page will not load, ask Customer Support to help you apply the restriction and explain its scope.

The US overview lists one-, three-, and five-year terms and lifetime. Three- and six-month options are described for Fantasy Sports only, excluding Connecticut patrons. The choices shown for your jurisdiction control. DraftKings says an active exclusion cannot be shortened and prevents login, deposits, sports wagers, casino play, and fantasy contests. It also says it stops direct marketing during the term.

Ask which linked products are included and whether your request also places you on a state list. Save the terms and the confirmation. Use the self-exclusion hub to find state-program guidance for other gambling access you want to close. Do not assume that an operator request covers every sportsbook, venue, or state program.

Request data deletion separately #

Permanent account closure and erasure of personal information are separate requests. DraftKings' Privacy Center instructions explain how to request access, correction, or deletion. Follow the Privacy Center link in that article; access from outside your account requires identity verification. For privacy questions or trouble following up, contact privacy@draftkings.com.

Your account's closure confirmation does not answer a separate privacy request. Ask for a response stating what can be deleted, whether anything will be retained, and the reason and retention period or criteria for any retained records. Keep that response with your closure confirmation.

The Privacy Center article links to the applicable privacy notice. If you cannot open it, ask the privacy contact for a copy covering your product and state. We have not verified a universal deletion deadline or an outcome that erases every record.

Keep support accessible after you leave #

Once you have saved the records and support contact, remove the betting app, bookmarks, and promotional notifications. Arrange any outstanding administrative work through support rather than browsing betting offers.
