Start with where you gamble.
These guides cover different official routes. Some cover a statewide list; others cover one venue, an existing out-of-state account, or account closure that does not prevent future gambling.
Open your state’s guide to find the available options, their coverage and the steps you can take yourself. Forms, official contacts and source-check dates are listed in each guide.

New enrollments in Pennsylvania
Across its four self-exclusion programs in fiscal year 2025–26. This counts program enrollments, not unique people or a nationwide total.
Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board annual report, p. 14What about gambling less?
A study published in 2010 interviewed 113 Missouri self-excluders, four to ten years after enrollment. Most reported less gambling and fewer gambling problems after joining.
The study did not compare them with people who had not self-excluded. It cannot establish a national success rate or show how much of the change was caused by self-exclusion alone.
