Follow these steps to enroll in Indiana's self-exclusion program.
- 1
Choose the Voluntary Exclusion Program if you want to cover Indiana casinos and all IGC-approved retail and mobile sports wagering
- 2
Enroll in the Voluntary Exclusion Program online through the IGC identity-verification process, or in person at an Indiana casino, the IGC office, or a designated problem gambling treatment provider
- 3
Select a one-year, five-year, or lifetime term and provide a government-issued photo ID and a current photograph
- 4
Choose the separate Internet Self-Restriction Program only if you want a one-year or five-year restriction limited to mobile sports wagering
- 5
Keep the IGC confirmation and verify with the IGC or operator support that each covered sportsbook account has processed the restriction
Ending or Removing Self-Exclusion
Neither program removes a person automatically after a one-year or five-year term. For the Voluntary Exclusion Program, submit the IGC removal form after the term by the online portal, in person, or by mail, and wait for written approval. A lifetime VEP term cannot be removed. Internet Self-Restriction Program participants must also ask the IGC for removal after their selected term.
Important Notes
Indiana's Voluntary Exclusion Program is the broader option and includes casino gaming plus retail and mobile sports wagering. The Internet Self-Restriction Program is a separate, narrower option for mobile sports wagering only. Paid fantasy sports, pari-mutuel horse racing, and esports are not included in the ISRP definition.
