Open the current application linked by the D.C. Office of Lottery and Gaming and read the program terms before scheduling enrollment

  2. 2

Call the OLG Responsible Gaming Program Specialist or designated agent using the number on the current application to schedule an in-person interview

  3. 3

Bring valid government-issued identification with your signature and photograph to the OLG office at the address listed on the application

  4. 4

Choose one year, 18 months, three years, five years, or lifetime; lifetime is available only after at least six months on the OLG list

  5. 5

Complete the application and identity check with a designated OLG agent, then keep the enrollment record and confirm when placement takes effect

Ending or Removing Self-Exclusion

A fixed-term exclusion remains active after the selected period until the person submits a removal petition, completes an exit session with a designated agent, and receives OLG approval. A lifetime exclusion cannot be removed.

Important Notes

The OLG program applies to gambling products and operators under OLG authority, including licensed sports wagering and DC Lottery retail and digital products. The application says OLG may share the list with other gaming jurisdictions, but users should not assume automatic coverage outside the District or across products regulated by another authority.
